Volleyball Game Preview: J.H. Rose Rampants vs. Union Pines Vikings

The J.H. Rose Rampants will challenge the Union Pines Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

J.H. Rose is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on East Chapel Hill with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rampants.

While J.H. Rose won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Union Pines made easy work of Swansboro on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-15, 25-19.

J.H. Rose's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Union Pines, their win bumped their record up to 24-2.

J.H. Rose took their victory against Union Pines in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Rampants have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
