While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Redondo Union Sea Hawks who were credited with the win on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 245th, while the Sea Hawks are ranked 24th).

Arroyo Valley's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Redondo Union, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
