In the second game of the 4-A area playoffs, the Calallen Wildcats (33-4) came out on top with an 11-1 win, following a 22-4 win the night before. This advanced the Wildcats to the Regional Quarterfinals against Rio Grande City. In the postseason, Calallen has outscored its opponents 52-7 in 4 games.
