Baseball Recap: Petaluma Extends Home Winning Streak to 14

Petaluma put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Rancho Cotate Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Petaluma let Harlan Barry and August Cuneo run wild. Barry went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double, while Cuneo scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Petaluma's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Rancho Cotate, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
