Basketball Recap: Leopold's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Leopold hadn't done well against Oran recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Leopold Wildcats walked away with a 50-43 victory over the Oran Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Leopold now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Oran, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leopold will face off against Campbell at 7:30 p.m. on January 7th. As for Oran, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Leopold at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
