Softball Recap: Peru Comes Up Short

Peru fell victim to Northwestern and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to Northwestern. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 30, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Peru's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Northwestern, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Peru will face off against Twin Lakes at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northwestern, they will take on Maconaquah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
