Baseball Game Preview: Whitney Wildcats vs. Granite Bay Grizzlies

For the second straight game, Whitney will face off against Granite Bay. Whitney will be playing at home against Granite Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Whitney turned things around against Granite Bay on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Grizzlies.

Whitney saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Jordan, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Whitney is 2-1 when Jordan posts two or more runs, but 2-5 otherwise. Will McLemore was another, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Whitney's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-6. As for Granite Bay, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
