Basketball Recap: New Life Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Alpha Academy on Wednesday, New Life Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Monarchs took a blow against the Northwood Temple Academy Eagles on Friday, falling 68-39. The Monarchs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-15.

New Life Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jeremiah Morrison, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Christopher Williams was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

New Life Christian Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3. As for Northwood Temple Academy, their record is now 4-1.

Coming up, New Life Christian Academy will take on Freedom Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they will face off against Village Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
