Volleyball Recap: Emerson's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Emerson came into Tuesday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Mineral Springs Hornets by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Emerson's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Mineral Springs, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

As of now, neither Emerson nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
