Soccer Recap: Moreno Valley Finishes Even with Canyon Springs

For the first time this season, Moreno Valley was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Canyon Springs Cougars could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Christian Alvarez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Moreno Valley's goal came courtesy of Jonathan Jones, which was the first he's scored this season.
