Edgewood won the last time they faced Melbourne and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Wolves were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Wolves.

While Edgewood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 25-17.

Anna Ely paced Edgewood's offense, picking up eight kills. Ely got some help from Debbie Walley and her 17 assists. Walley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Edgewood's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Melbourne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11.

Coming up, Edgewood will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cocoa at 7:15 p.m. As for Melbourne, they will face off against Sebastian River at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
