Basketball Recap: Jorja Uden and Sophia Schukei Secure Win for Kenesaw

The third road game was the charm for Kenesaw, as they earned their first road win of the season. They managed a 44-39 win over the Loomis Wolves on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Kenesaw to victory were Sophia Schukei and Jorja Uden. Schukei went 6 of 14 en route to 13 points and seven rebounds, while Uden went 5 of 12 on her way to 11 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Uden a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Avery Kelley, who posted seven points and three steals.

Kenesaw's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Loomis, they now also have a losing record at 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kenesaw will welcome Shelton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Loomis, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Amherst at 6:00 p.m.
