Soccer Game Preview: Whitehall-Yearling vs. Bishop Watterson

The Whitehall-Yearling Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the Bishop Watterson Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Whitehall-Yearling is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Whitehall-Yearling saw some tournament action on Saturday. They skirted past Buckeye Valley 3-2. That's two games straight that Whitehall-Yearling have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Watterson). Everything went their way against Independence on Saturday as they made off with an 8-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Bishop Watterson's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Independence are ranked 480th).

Whitehall-Yearling's record now sits at 9-7-1. As for Bishop Watterson, their record is now 10-5-3.
