Basketball Game Preview: Sterling Silver Knights vs. Eastern Vikings

The Sterling Silver Knights and the Eastern Vikings will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Sterling is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Clayton 95-72 on Friday. While the Silver Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Eastern posted their biggest win since February 21st on Friday. They ended the year with a bang, routing Medford Tech 81-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Sterling's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.7 points per game. As for Eastern, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
