Basketball Recap: Manawa Takes a Loss

Manawa was the 45-38 winner over Shiocton when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Manawa Wolves took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shiocton Chiefs on Friday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manawa now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Shiocton, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

Manawa will square off against Menominee Indian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shiocton, they will challenge Brillion at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Brillion is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season.
