After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Louis University, Christian Brothers was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs 2-1. Given Christian Brothers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Fort Zumwalt South are ranked 62nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Christian Brothers has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7-1 record this season. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.
