After losing to Greenhill the last time they met, Prince of Peace decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles skirted past the Hornets 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Prince of Peace got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-12.
Mckenna Morton paced Prince of Peace's offense, picking up 26 kills. Morton got some help from Izzy Duceska and her 47 assists. Morton and Duceska didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with five apiece.
Prince of Peace's victory bumped their record up to 25-11. As for Greenhill, their loss dropped their record down to 19-7.
