Daniel Honeycutt put up the most sacks he's had since back in November of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he picked up two sacks, made three total tackles, and defended one pass.

Honeycutt and Oak Grove will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. Sadly, Honeycutt's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Grizzlies' five-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Honeycutt and the Grizzlies surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into October 3's match.
