Basketball Recap: Yulee Triumphs

Fernandina Beach came into Friday's game looking for another win against Yulee, but Ben Newby wouldn't allow it. The Hornets snuck past the Pirates with a 69-65 win on Friday with plenty of help from Newby, who posted 21 points and five assists. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Yulee now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Fernandina Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
