Basketball Recap: Beachwood Comes Up Short

Beachwood lost against Trinity back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Beachwood Bison were dealt a 77-50 loss at the hands of the Trinity Trojans. The Bison's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Aidan Duncan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Trinity, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. What's more, Duncan also posted five assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Cooper Hughes, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Beachwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Trinity, their record now sits at 7-10.

Beachwood has already played their next matchup, a 48-45 defeat against Normandy on the 11th. As for Trinity, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-54 victory against Open Door Christian on the 11th.
