Football Recap: Mason Comes Up Short

Mason and Fairfield squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mason had to settle for second. They fell 46-40 to the Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-13 on October 3rd.

Mason now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Fairfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Mason does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairfield, they will head out on the road to square off against Elder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them.
