Basketball Recap: Bellefontaine Takes a Loss

Bellefontaine was the 49-39 winner over Shawnee when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bellefontaine Chieftains fell 60-50 to the Shawnee Braves on Tuesday. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bellefontaine's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Shawnee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-8.

Bellefontaine has already played their next game (against Tecumseh), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Shawnee will look to defend their home court on Friday against Benjamin Logan at 7:30 p.m. Shawnee is facing Benjamin Logan at the right time seeing as Benjamin Logan is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
