Washburn is 1-8 against Claiborne since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Pirates will challenge the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Washburn is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season.

On Tuesday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Washburn made off with a 47-46 win over North Greene.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Washburn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavin Kincaid, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 16 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Matthew Harville, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, in Friday's Canine Competition, Claiborne didn't have enough. They lost 71-48 to North Greene on Friday.

Washburn's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Claiborne, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Washburn was dealt a bruising 79-45 loss at the hands of Claiborne in their previous meeting back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Pirates were down 41-14.
