Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Mark Twain Tigers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 14-8 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mark Twain, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Coming up, Madison will challenge Slater at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Wildcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Mark Twain, they are taking a road trip to take on Wright City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
