Volleyball Recap: Ajo Comes Up Short

Ajo lost against Thunderbird Adventist Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Red Raiders lost 3-0 to Thunderbird Adventist Academy.

While Ajo was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-10, 25-16.

Ajo's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Thunderbird Adventist Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Ajo will be playing in front of their home fans against Skyline Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Thunderbird Adventist Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Tohono O'Odham at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Thunderbird Adventist Academy are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
