Baseball Game Preview: Benson vs. MACCRAY Wolverines

Benson will face off against the MACCRAY Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Monday, Benson came up short against Dawson-Boyd and fell 12-9. Benson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adrian Young was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Nelson, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, while it was MACCRAY who put the first runs on the board on Thursday, it was Canby who put up more. The Wolverines lost 12-2 to the Lancers.

MACCRAY's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Benson, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
