Basketball Recap: Rancho Solano Prep Comes Up Short

After flying high against Red Rock on Thursday, Rancho Solano Prep came back down to earth. The Mustangs took a blow against the Rocky Mountain Lobos on Friday, falling 69-41. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Rancho Solano Prep's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. As for Rocky Mountain, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Rancho Solano Prep will square off against Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rocky Mountain, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Benjamin Franklin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lobos will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
