Basketball Game Preview: Flanagan Falcons vs. West Broward Bobcats

Flanagan is 2-8 against West Broward since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Flanagan Falcons just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the West Broward Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Flanagan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Hollywood Hills with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 76-57. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Flanagan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jason Carias led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Forges, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards.

West Broward hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They managed a 47-43 victory over South Broward on Tuesday.

West Broward's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Flanagan, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
