Volleyball Recap: Boca Raton Comes Up Short

Boca Raton was the 2-1 winner over Bishop Moore when they last played one another back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Boca Raton Bobcats fell 2-0 to the Bishop Moore Hornets on Saturday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Bobcats were not able to get on the board.

Boca Raton was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bishop Moore work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 26-24.

Marc Francis Callejas was the offensive standout of the contest as he had nine digs. Philip Hanna also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Boca Raton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Bishop Moore, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Boca Raton will face off against Park Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Moore will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Windermere at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th.
