Baseball Recap: Paraclete Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

While Paraclete put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Saugus. The Paraclete Spirits sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over the Saugus Centurions. For the Spirits, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Centurions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2019.

Jacob Draper looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Armando Saucedo was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Abraham Perez also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Paraclete's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Saugus, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-1.
