Volleyball Recap: St. Mark's Wins Going Away Against Thayer Academy

St. Mark had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Thayer Academy on Friday. The Lions put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

St. Mark's walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-17.

St. Mark's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Thayer Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Mark's will face off against rival Governor's Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Thayer Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Lawrence Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
