Volleyball Recap: Meigs Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Meigs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the North Adams Green Devils, falling 3-0.

Meigs may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-18.

When it comes to explaining why Meigs lost, don't look at Marlee Laudermilt. Despite the final result, she had 23 digs and three aces. Laudermilt is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jordin Davenport, who had 21 assists and three digs.

Meigs' defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for North Adams, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Meigs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Adams, after both having extra time off, they and Zane Trace will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
