Volleyball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside lost against International back in October of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Argonauts fell 3-1 to the Gryphons.

Riverside started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-8, 25-10, 25-12.

Riverside's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for International, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, Riverside and University will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for International, they will face off against Indiana Math & Science Academy North at 7:30 p.m. on the 16th.
