Meanwhile, Academy of the Holy Names made easy work of Winthrop College Prep Academy on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Berkeley Prep's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Academy of the Holy Names, their victory bumped their record up to 17-9.

Everything went Berkeley Prep's way against Academy of the Holy Names when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Berkeley Prep made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
