Softball Recap: Lakes Comes Up Short

Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 30-5 to the Gig Harbor Tides.

Serenity Melton was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Gig Harbor, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Coming up, Lakes will face off against North Thurston at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gig Harbor, they will take on Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
