Basketball Recap: Oxford Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Kerr-Vance Academy on Monday, Oxford Prep came back down to earth. The Griffins took a 68-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots on Wednesday. While the Griffins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots 15-8 in the first quarter.

Oxford Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for American Leadership Academy-Johnston, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Oxford Prep and River Mill will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played. As for American Leadership Academy-Johnston, they will venture away from home to square off against Henderson Collegiate at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
