Basketball Recap: East Takes a Loss

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Franklin Heights Falcons an easy 57-36 victory.

When it comes to explaining why East lost, don't look at Kaliyah Barron. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 boards. That was a full 66.7% of East's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Makeda Inman was another key player, putting up six points and ten rebounds.
