Soccer Game Preview: Grafton vs. Wachusett Regional

The Grafton Gators will face off against the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Grafton will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Algonquin Regional, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Gators narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Titans 2-1. That's two games straight that Grafton have won by just one goal.

While Wachusett Regional's fans didn't get a definitive result on Saturday, they were treated to the team's highest-scoring tie of the season. They and Longmeadow finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Grafton pushed their record up to 4-6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. With that draw, Wachusett Regional's record moves to 5-3-5.
