Volleyball Recap: West Bend West Takes a Loss

West Bend West extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 5-9. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Catholic Memorial Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

As for Catholic Memorial, the win got them back to even at 7-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted against West Bend West since September 23, 2017.

Catholic Memorial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anna Duelge, who had nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Duelge has posted over her last five games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aldyn Visner, who had 11 assists and six digs.

West Bend West has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Plymouth on the 16th. As for Catholic Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Muskego on the 16th.
