Softball Recap: Lowell Catholic Comes Up Short

Lowell Catholic made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Greater Lowell Tech, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Ftng Crusaders fell just short of the Gryphons by a score of 6-4 on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Lowell Catholic's record is now 0-2-1. As for Greater Lowell Tech, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Lowell Catholic and Greater Lowell Tech will both be playing Whittier RVT the next time they take the field. The Gryphons will host the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Ftng Crusaders will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
