Portage had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Stoughton on Tuesday. The Warriors blew past the Vikings 3-0. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Lillian Quirk paced Portage's offense, picking up eight kills. Quirk got some help from Kate Stevenson and her 12 assists. Quirk also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Christina Geltemeyer, each putting up two.
