Bagdad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Anthem Prep Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Sultans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Bagdad sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-7, 23-25, 25-16, 20-25, 15-5.
