Mountainside has gone a perfect 5-0 against Southridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mavericks will square off against the Skyhawks at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Southridge will have to contend with a Mountainside squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen since September 15. Mountainside and Sunset finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Monday.

Meanwhile, Southridge can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Aloha. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Southridge have been dealt a draw since back in September.

With that draw, Mountainside's record moves to 4-5-3. As for Southridge, they moved theirs to 2-7-2.

Everything went Mountainside's way against Southridge when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Mountainside made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
