Football Game Preview: Cape Fear Colts vs. Terry Sanford Bulldogs + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Geronimo Sanchez and Jacob Moore are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Cape Fear Colts will be playing at home against the Terry Sanford Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Terry Sanford will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Cape Fear extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Colts took their matchup with ease, bagging a 50-20 win over Gray's Creek. Given the Colts' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Bears are ranked 247th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Terry Sanford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Lumberton 42-6 on Friday. With the Bulldogs ahead 28-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Isaiah Washington and Sebastian O'Keefe. Washington gained 115 total yards while O'Keefe gained 114 total yards.

Terry Sanford's run defense was locked in: Lumberton could only muster 2.5 yards per carry. The Bulldogs didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged nine.

Cape Fear's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Terry Sanford, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-2.
