Volleyball Recap: Woodlan's Luck Changes for the Better on Sunday

Woodlan can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Sunday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the New Haven Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Carter Fleek paced Woodlan's offense, picking up nine kills. Fleek were helped by Nathan Culler and Ty Louden, who contributed eight assists each. Drew Fleek controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Woodlan's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for New Haven, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Woodlan is on the road again on Sunday to play Leo at 11:00 a.m. As for New Haven, they will challenge Norwell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
