Football Recap: Granger Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Granger can now relate to. They took a blow against the Junction Eagles on Friday, falling 42-14. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Granger didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tre Castillo and Ryder Bice.

Bode Bierschwale had a dynamite game For Junction., rushing for 51 yards and two TDs, while also picking up 49 receiving yards. Those 49 receiving yards gave Bierschwale a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Granger fell to 10-1. As for Junction, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Granger does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Junction, they will take on Shiner on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 8.1, the Comanches 11.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
