After a string of three wins, King's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 53-43 to the Marist RedHawks. The Jaguars lost against the RedHawks in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 73-26 score last time.

King's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Marist, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, King won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Julian at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Marist, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Sidwell Friends at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
