Soccer Recap: Hialeah Educational Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hialeah Educational Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Miami Country Day Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Biggie haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Abdiel Pereda and Marcos Roque scored both of Hialeah Educational Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 30 goals.

Hialeah Educational Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for Miami Country Day, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7-2.

Hialeah Educational Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miami Country Day, they will challenge Scheck Hillel Community School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Scheck Hillel Community School's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Miami Country Day's offense will have their work cut out for them.
