Volleyball Recap: Laurel Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Laurel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Chesapeake Science Point, falling 3-0.

Laurel was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Chesapeake Science Point work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15, 25-13.

Leading Chesapeake Science Point to victory were Kamryn Holley and Emma Wishard. Holley had 14 digs, while Wishard had 11 digs. Those 14 digs gave Holley a new career-high.

Laurel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Chesapeake Science Point, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

As of now, neither Laurel nor Chesapeake Science Point have any future games scheduled.
