Football Recap: James Lick Gets the Win

James Lick won against Independence on Thursday with 13 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Comets walked away with a 13-6 win over the Gunderson Grizzlies. While the Comets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory made it two in a row for James Lick and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Gunderson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Meanwhile, Gunderson will square off against rival Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
